Please join us on Monday, November 11th at 10:45 AM, for an observance of Veterans Day and a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the arrival of the last of our collection’s aircraft onsite. Our ceremony will include a posting of the colors by the local squadron of Civil Air Patrol students that train in our facility. Michael S. Krusen, Deputy County Executive, will speak on behalf of Chemung County and Mike Hall, CEO of Wings of Eagles Discovery Center, will be thanking our community friends whose generous donations made the aircraft placement possible. Donations were made by the Laborers Local Union 785 of the Laborers International Union of North America, Custom Mix Concrete Inc., Providence Electric LLC and Streeter Associates Inc. After the ceremony, Sweet –N– Saucy Catering will provide refreshments inside the Discovery Center. In the event of poor weather, the entire ceremony will take place inside. Hope to see you on the 11th!
