Douglas B-26B (Invader)

Overview
The Invader was originally designated the A-26A for heavy attack missions. The “B” models were outfitted for bomber missions, thus the B-26B designation. Confusion with the Martin B-26 is not uncommon. The glass nose version employed the Norden bombsite, also on display. This item was donated by Calspan Corp, Buffalo, NY after several years as its corporate aircraft.
