Ling-Temco-Vought A-7D (Corsair II)

Overview
This aircraft was used to train maintenance personnel at Griffiss Air Force Base, NY until the base was closed. It was sent to Fort Drum, NY to be used as an artillery/gunnery/bombing target. A member of the museum set the wheels in motion for Congressman Amo Houghton to have the Corsair II sent to Wings of Eagles Discovery Center. The aircraft has been restored to static display by gifted, loyal volunteers.
