Overview
The Piper J-3 is a small, simple, light aircraft built between 1937 and 1947 by Piper Aircraft. It’s front and back seating arrangement made it ideal for training. As of January 2012 the FAA still carries 258 of these on its registry. It is a very popular personal light sport aircraft.
