This aircraft is in beautiful condition, primarily because it was used as a “testbed” and did not see any combat. It was featured in a made-for-TV presentation, “The Forrestal Disaster” of the Seconds from Disaster series. The brief segment was filmed at the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport.
