Overview
The RLU-1 “Breezy” is a distinctive “no cockpit”, high wing, homebuilt, pusher aircraft designed to seat the pilot and passengers with a maximum unobstructed view. Designed and built by Charles Roloff, Robert Liposky and Carl Unger, the original Breezy used a modified set of Piper PA-12 wings. This type of aircraft is licensed as “Experimental” because it does not meet FAA standards. This version of Breezy was donated to Wings of Eagles Discovery Center by Lee and Vivian Robbins in December 2012.
