Pratt & Whitney J60 (JT12)

Overview

Of Pratt & Whitney’s final turbojets, the 3,300-pound-thrust JT12 was the smallest. The single-spool JT12 was used on the Lockheed C-140 Jetstar, and Rockwell’s T-2B Buckeye and T-39A Saberliner.

The engine in our collection was donated by the 313th Air Force Recruiting Squadron, United States Air Force Recruiting Service.
