Wednesday, March 13, 2013 – 11:15 AM – Dr. Kelvin Lee, Director of Delaware Biotechnology Institute (DBI) and Gore Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware (UD), and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), has partnered with Cornell University, leveraging the USDA Bioenergy and Bioproducts Education Programs (BBEP) to bring renewable biomass education to teachers in Delaware. Dianne Wuest, a doctoral candidate in chemical and biomolecular engineering at UD and outreach coordinator for DBI, is an alumna of the 2012 BBEP Teaching Fellows (train-the-trainer) program at Cornell University and is coordinating workshops in northern Delaware in 2013.
