2013 Train-the-trainer program – Michael Katz is a pre-service science teacher, studying at Delaware State University. Michael is in the MAT (Masters in Teaching) Program and is a Graduate Assistant: NICE project. Michael’s Undergraduate degree was in Biology at the University of Delaware. In addition to visiting classrooms around Delaware State during the school year Michael has served as a teaching assistant for the Earth Science for Education majors class. Michael is looking forward to his career as a science teacher and to bringing the topics of bioenergy and bioproducts to classrooms visits in the coming year.
