2013 Train-the-trainer program – Theresa Paredes is a science teacher a Woodward High School, a rural school in the Toledo public school system, Toledo, Ohio. Theresa teaches Bio I, Environmental Science and Bio II. Theresa has been teaching for 7 years and has spent the last 3 summers learning about alternative energy through PBS and the L.E.A.D.E.R.S. program at the University of Toledo. Just completing her first year of Environmental Science, Theresa wants to continue to develop her education in the field. Theresa plans to implement the program curriculum into her Bio I class at Woodward HS. Theresa is taking her passion for plants and developing a hydroponics unit for her classroom in collaboration with BBEP.
